In 1968, Grand Seiko introduced Japan’s first automatic 10-beat watch (61GS) to the world.
In 2009, 10-beat Caliber 9S85 surpassed the original, with high precision parts created using sophisticated modern technology assembled with skills honed over the many decades of Grand Seiko’s watchmaking.

Part of Grand Seiko’s Elegance Collection, The SBGM221 GMT provides superior accuracy paired with class. This piece is powered by a 9S66 automatic movement with a 3-day power reserve . This exceptionally reliable movement is put into an eye catching 39.5mm stainless steel case with an easily readable ivory dial, matched with a brown crocodile leather strap held by a three-fold clasp. The watch face is easily readable with date display giving the perfect combination of functionality with class.

Further features include the latest in hairspring technology and MEMS technology for extremely precise and accurate time keeping.
